Don’t Forget
Sunday, January 28th, 2007My teacher speaks
her name in dreams.
In contemplation, She says:
Don’t be stuck on names!
She is swift in judgment,
more patient than the slowest-growing tree.
I stumble along,
and sometimes wonder what She
sees in me.
None other than my own Self,
She says.
And the unstoppable desire
to realize that
is You, too.
Very good, She
says.
But I am also the stumbling.
Don’t forget.
